Moore Zula Irene Wiggins Moore, 94, of Gosport died April 20, 2008 at the Jackson Health Care Facility. She was born Dec. 14, 1913. She was a native of Mexia. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Gosport Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, John Moore, Gosport, Boykin W. Moore, Ormand Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. The service was April 22 at 2 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home Chapel in Grove Hill with Revs. Jack Wright and Lee Merck officiating. Burial was in the Gosport Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pilots for Christ, Inc., P.O. Box 707, Monroeville, AL 36461. Active pallbearers were Daniel W. Wiggins, Dan Wiggins, Mike Wiggins, W.W. Moore, Joseph Day and John Day.
Honorary pallbearers were Tim Williamson, R.E. Garrick, John Lee, Herbert Bush, Donald Duke, Charlie Moore, William Moore, Walter Moore and James Moore.
