Smith

Walter Smith Jr., 92, of Faunsdale died April 17, 2008 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis. He was born June 23, 1915 in Sweet Water.

Survivors include his wife, Reba Smith, Faunsdale; three sons, Jimmy (Betty) Smith, Uniontown, Ronald (Jo Ann) Smith, Thomaston, Bruce (Loraine) Smith, Coy; two daughters, Margaret (Joe) Pike, Faunsdale, Barbara (Robert) Walker, Selma; three sister-in-laws, Sybile Smith, Linden, Olivia Cooper, Birmingham, Bobbie Jordan, Sweet Water; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one greatgreat grandchild.

The service was April 21 at 11 a.m. at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Revs. Robert Walker and Grey Snodgrass officiating. Burial was in the Sweet Water Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Michael Smith, Milton Smith, Heath Smith, Jim Smith, Glen Smith, David Tanner, David Daily and Johnny Sanders.
