Lady Bulldogs no hit Mobile Chr.

The Clarke County High School Lady Bulldogs pounded out six hits while pitcher Abby Walker held Mobile Christian to no hits in a 4-0 area loss Tuesday.

MeMe Martin went 2-for-3 with two triples. Gioia Jackson was 2-for-2 with a triple. Hannah Barnes went 2-for-3 with a double.

Walker struck out four in seven innings of work.

Last Thursday CCHS won both ends of a doubleheader against Monroe County in Grove Hill.

CCHS won the opener 16-15.

Ericka Williams earned the win as she struck out three in seven innings of work.

Walker went 3-for-4 with two doubles. Brittney Harvell went 3-for-3 with a double. Brittney Dunson went 3-for-4 with a double. Martin added a triple.

In the second game Clarke County blanked the Lady Tigers 10-0.

Walker went 3-for-3. Martin went 2-for-3 with a double. Dunson, Jackson, Nikki Ray and E. Williams each had a hit.

Walker allowed three hits and struck out five in the five inning game.

CCHS hosts Thomasville Thursday and on Friday they play Escambia County starting at 12 noon.
