Lady Gators beat Fort Dale

The Clarke Prep School Lady Gators hit the road last Friday and beat Fort Dale Academy 12-3 in Greenville.

Tess Ackerman went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a home run. Stephanie Sales went 4-for-4. Courtney Dunagan went 2-for-5. Kristin Schultz went 2-for-4. Jessica McKinley went 2-for-4. Haley Hill was 2-for-3. Libby Harrigan added a hit.

Ackerman got the win as she struck out 11 Fort Dale batters.

The Lady Gators pounded Morgan 15-0 last Thursday in Grove Hill.

Hill went 3-for-4 with an RBI. McKinley went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a double. Ackerman was 3-for- 4 with a double, homer and six RBI. Corrie Allen went 3-for-4 with a triple and an RBI. C. Dunagan added a double. Anna Hicks and Schultz each had a hit.

Allen allowed just one hit in getting the win.

Clarke Prep played Faith Monday and then closes out the regular season Thursday (today) when they travel to Mobile to play Cottage Hill.
