Bird taken using bow and arrow
     Jimmie T. Grayson, of Toddtown, killed this turkey early in the season while hunting with a bow and arrow. The bird had a 10 inch beard and weighed 18 pounds. It was his first time hunting with a bow.

Dumas kills her first gobbler
     Whitney Dumas, 11-years-old, killed her first gobbler. The bird had a nine inch beard and one inch spurs. She killed it on the first day of the season while hunting with her dad. He dropped a gobbler with a 12 inch beard and one inch spurs. She is the daughter of Dale and Vicki Dumas of Grove Hill.
