New Prospect will have its homecoming and decoration Sunday, May 4 with services beginning in the cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Morning worship service will be at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon.

New Greater First Baptist Church of Thomasville will celebrate its church anniversary Sunday, May 4 at 3 p.m. Rev. Anthony Jelks, pastor of the Lively Hope Baptist Church of Pratt City will be the guest speaker. Rev. Carlton Hogue is the pastor.

Decoration will be held at Smith Cemetery in Chilton Sunday, May 4 at p.m. Everyone is urged to attend. Teen Challenge

at FBC

Fulton Baptist Church located on Highway 178 in Fulton will have a Teen Challenge entitled, "Come and See The Impact You Could Have on Others," Sunday, May 4 at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be held afterwards.

Salem Baptist

Salem Baptist Church of Scyrene will have homecoming Sunday, May 4 with Sunday School at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. A covered dish lunch will follow. Rev. Jimmy Powell will be the guest speaker. Singing will be held after lunch featuring Glory Road Quartet. Women's Day

St. Peter Baptist Church will have its Women's Day Sunday, May 4 at 9:30 a.m. followed by the 11:30 a.m. worship service. Sister Geraldine Davis is the guest speaker. The service will end at 2 p.m. with Pastor Belinda Kelly of the Word of Truth Fellowship Church of Jackson as the guest speaker. All women are asked to wear white if possible. Rev. Matthew Davis is the pastor.

Usher Day

Indian Ridge Baptist Church will have its annual Usher Day Program Sunday, May 4 at 11:30 a.m. Sis. Bernice Raine is the clerk. Rev. John Lynum is the pastor.

Lily Baptist Church of Fulton will have its pastor's anniversary Friday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Dr. S.L. Hives and congregation of Independent Missionary Baptist Church of Sweet Water.

The anniversary will end Sunday, May 18 at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Marvin Langham and congregation of Prichard. Rev. Wiley McMillian is the pastor.

Youth

Walkathon

A Youth Health Walkathon will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. on May 17 at Gates Drive on the Thomasville High School campus.The event is sponsored by the Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church Youth Department.

The event will continue with Youth Fun Day at the Walnut Grove Community Worship Center in Morvin. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is invited. The pastor is Rev. David Fuller.

Lower Peach Tree United Methodist Church will have homecoming Sunday, May 25. The theme will be "Precious Memories" of families, landmarks, events and more in Lower Peach Tree's upper town and lower town and in neighboring areas.

Truevine Baptist Church will have its second annual basketball tournament Saturday, June 7 at 9 a.m. at the Clarke County High School Gymnasium. There will be first, second and third place prizes to be given away. Each player on each team is asked to pay $5 for ages 15 and up and the tournament is only for boys and men. Stave Creek Baptist Church Children's Ministry will have Vacation Bible School Power Lab "Discovering Jesus Miraculous Power" June 9-13 from 5:45 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Early registration will be June 8 at 5:45.
