"GOD-HONORING FAMILIES"
A boy was asked by a friend, "Why do you believe in God?" After pondering for a moment, he said, "I guess it just runs in our family." Your home is the first church your children will attend. That's where they'll learn right from wrong, kindness from cruelty. Your home is where your children will be taught by lip and by life to turn to the Lord or to turn from Him. In your home they'll come to adopt Bible reading or abandon it, to embrace prayer or evade it. No child is likely to find a Father in God unless he finds something of God in his father and mother. Does belief in God run in your family?
Prayer: Bless our home, Father, we pray Thee. Give each member of our family a strong faith in Thee and love for one another. Help us to be a pattern for others that they may see Thee in us: in Christ. Amen.
