Several juveniles in Jackson arrested for possession of alcohol

The Jackson Police Department reported the arrests of several juveniles Sunday, April 27, for illegally possessing alcohol.

According to police reports, Sgt. Josh Garrett responded to a noise complaint at a residence in the 500 block of West Cedar Street. Arriving on the scene, he discovered what appeared to be a house party being conducted by a number of juveniles who were found to be in the possession of alcohol.

According to the report, no adults were present at the residence. Two 15 year olds, two 17 year olds and one 19 year old were taken into custody.
