Former state Junior Miss to host Clarke County pageant Saturday
There are 13 contestants in this year's program. Admission to the Saturday night program is $5. McAnnally is a freshman at Birmingham-Southern College, where she is majoring in Journalism and Religion. Some of her activities include Director of Publications for SGA, Chi Omega Social Sorority, SGA Sophomore Representative, a member of Southern Chorale Singers and a volunteer at Woodrow Wilson Elementary. She is also involved with MWACT Alabama, a non-profit organization that assists impoverished families around the state. She is a member of United Christian Fellowship. McAnnally earned the titles of Morgan County Junior Miss and Alabama Junior Miss for 2007. She was recognized in both pageants for the Talent Award, Self Expression Award and Be Your Best Self Essay Award.
She also received numerous awards during the national pageant including Top Eight Finalist, Spirit of Junior Miss, Talent Award, Self Expression Award and Be Your Best Self Essay Award.
