Students attend FBLA conference

Clarke County High School Future Business Leaders of America students attended the Alabama Leadership Conference and Competition held April 17-18 in Birmingham. FBLA students had the opportunity to attend leadership seminars, to hear guest speakers, and participate in competitive events. Students that attended were (in no particular order) Brittney Martin, Kayla Davis, Ivan Grayson, John Pendleton, Mario Erazo, Kevin Harrell, Alexandria Rouse, Erica McCaskey, Chaneitra McCaskey, LaShonda Scott, Anthony Nelson, Kendra Parker, Dillon Newton, Dylyn Walker, and Brianna Foreman. Also attending the conference were adviser, Ashlie Flowers, and FCCLA adviser, Mary Roberts. John Pendleton placed second in the Alabama Public Speaking I competition, and Kevin Harrell placed second in the Computer Applications competition. Congratulations to all of these students who had the opportunity to compete on the state level by placing as a southern regional finalist.
