Coffeeville students participate in "Walk of Life'
 | | Members of the Sigma Beta Club at Coffeeville High School participated in the March of Dimes Walk for Life on April 26 in Tuscaloosa. The young men were responsible for setting up and passing out beverages to walkers. These young men had the opportunity to go bowling, tour the campuses of Stillman College and The University of Alabama, and play basketball with their big brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. This is not the first project for the Sigma Beta Club; they passed out candy canes during the Christmas holiday at the Thomasville Nursing home and gave candy to the teachers at Coffeeville High School on Valentine's Day. The Sigma Beta Club has members in Coffeeville and Jackson and is under the leadership of the Beta Pi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma in Tuscaloosa and the club's advisor is Derek Pugh.
