Jackson

LaVan Jackson, 53, of Thomasville died April 19, 2008 at his residence. He was a retired carpenter.

Survivors include one son, Carlos Cairl, Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers, Bernard Jackson, Thomasville, Marshall Thompson, Los Angeles, Calif.; four sisters, Veronica Rowe, Francine Davis, both of Thomasville, Tonya Osborne, Huntsville, LaTanya Thompson, Los Angeles, Calif.; one grandchild.

The service was April 25 at 1 p.m. at New Greater First Baptist Church in Thomasville. Burial was in the New Greater First Baptist Church Cemetery. Thomasville Memorial funeral Home directed.
