CPS students selected for Honors Band

Kirk Hill and Katie Newton were selected to participate in honors band held on the campus of The University of North Alabama on April 27- 29. One thousand students were nominated for this honor, but only three hundred were chosen. They spent their weekend preparing for a concert given on the campus. On April 28, The University of North Alabama band performed a concert, using an arrangement of "Yakety Flutes" composed by their band director Mr. Gene Clark. Contributed Photo
