Graduation Ceremonies to be held May 16 at CPS
Clarke Preparatory School
      Graduation exercises will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 16 at Hamilton Field. Speaker will be U.S. Congressman Jo Bonner. Thirty-four students are included in the Class of 2008. The Valedictorian is Jake Suddreth, and the Salutatorians are J.D. Powell and Hannah Detlefsen.

Physical Education and Sports Week celebrated at GHES
      Physical Education and Sports Week was celebrated at Grove Hill Elementary School during the week of May 5-9. The week started off with a school wide assembly on Monday. Mrs. Rocker, a first grade teacher, began the assembly by singing the Star Spangled Banner.

Fourth graders play faculty, staff in kick ball
     On April 18, the Fourth grade students played the teachers and staff in an exciting game of kickball. Several teachers cheered and coached while other students kept score and refereed. The kickball game was a reward for excellent behavior during the SAT and ARMT tests. Contributed Photo
