Annie Bell Howze Law, 82, of Denver, Colo. died May 3, 2008.

She was born Feb. 23, 1926. She was a native of Coffeeville. She was a retired worker for children's hospital in Denver for 29 years.

Survivors include her husband, Dorska Lee Law; five sons, Leon Law, Darrell Law, Donny Law, Derrick Law, all of Denver, Colo., Travis (Bonnie) Law, Aurora, Colo.; three daughters, Augustine (Clyde) Truesdale, Darlene Law, Denise Pender Law, all of Denver; two sisters, Viola (Richard) Jordan, Montgomery, Mary L. Cox, Atlanta, Ga.; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Miller and Mary Howze, five sisters, Ida Burroughs, Mattie Horn, Gladys Lee, Alice Chapman, Thelma Scruggs, three brothers, Miller Howze Jr., Williams Howze, Cleveland Howze.

The service was May 13 at 11 a.m. at the Union Baptist Church in Coffeeville. Burial was in the Howze and Thornton Cemetery in Coffeeville. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed.
