Larry Coleman Champion, 55, of Alexander City died July 29, 2008 at an Alexander City hospital.

He was a native of Mobile. He had worked at Chapman's Nursing Home as an electrician.

Survivors include one son, Ross Champion; one daughter, Marsha Champion Mosley; his mother, Sue Champion, Pine Hill; three brothers, Roger Champion, Ricky Champion, Scotty Champion, all of Mobile; three grandchildren.

A graveside service was Aug. 1 at 11 a.m. in Valhalla Memorial Gardens. Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home directed.
