Louisiana's Junior Miss granddaughter of Jacksonians

Taylor Hayden of Baton Rouge, La., daughter of Sheila and Steve Hayden of Baton Rouge and granddaughter of Jean Taylor of Jackson and the late Ralph Taylor, won the title of Louisiana Junior Miss 2009 on Saturday, July 26 in Alexandria, La. Along with winning cash scholarships, Taylor will travel to Mobile to participate in the 52nd America's Junior Miss national finals, June 25-27.

During the finals, she will compete with representatives of the other 49 states for the opportunity to win the title and a share of more than $150,000 in cash scholarships.

Taylor is a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club at St. Joseph's Academy where she is a senior.
