Shamburger

Lucille Shamburger, 94, of Thomasville died Sept. 10, 2008 at Country Oaks Assisted Living Facility.

She was born July 17, 1914 in Yellow Bluff. She attended First Baptist Church of Selma and Yellow Bluff Baptist Church. She was a retired depot agent with Southern Railroad.

Survivors include one brother, Frank Shamburger, Chatom; two sisters, Lois Rattray, Vero Beach, Fla., Fontaine Wilhelm, Caldwell, Texas; several nephews and nieces.

A graveside service was Sept. 12 at 2 p.m. in the Pine Hill Cemetery with Rev. Carl Williams officiating. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
