Spelling winners will advance to district

CPS recently held its school spelling bee. Winners are: 4th grade winner, Lindsey Smith, alternate, Trevor Overton; 5th grade winner, Maggie Cox, alternate, Natalie Parker; 6th grade winner, Roxanna Hare, alternate, Megan Brunson; 7th grade winner, Luke Horton, alternate, Slater Dozier; 8th grade winner, Mary Katherine Bradford, alternate, John Dyess. These winners will advance to the district bee on January 27, 2009.
