Capstone Bank officers and employees, Thomasville city officials and others joined in a groundbreaking for the new bank on Highway 43 in front of Goody's recently. Capstone is a relatively new bank, having purchased the old Southwest Bank that was headquartered in McIntosh. Corporate offices are in Tuscaloosa where Capstone also recently established a bank office there.
