Sarah Kathryn Barlow, 96, of Camden died Jan. 7, 2009.
She was born Sept. 16, 1912. She was a member of the Lt. Joseph M. Wilcox Chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution, Alabama Chapter #36 United Daughters of the Confederacy, Colonial Dames and a longtime member of Bethsaida Baptist Church and current member of the Camden Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Dr. Robert L. Barlow Jr., Matthews, AL, Dan R. (Betty) Barlow, Grove Hill, Kenneth W. (Sue) Barlow, Camden; grandchildren, Mary Penn Barlow Lavallee, Sarah Kathryn Barlow Pounds, Bob Barlow, James O. Barlow, Dan R. Barlow Jr., Kenneth Barlow Jr., Dr. Kevin Barlow; great-grandchildren, Matthew R. Pounds, Amanda E. Pounds, Morgan L. Pounds, Kaitlyn Barlow, Robert "Bo" Barlow, Brooke Barlow, Clay Barlow, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Barlow, Kenneth "Trey" Barlow III, nieces, Becky York and Patty Robbins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Daniel and Mary Robbins, her husband, Robert Barlow Sr., and brothers, Ed Robbins and John Robbins.
A graveside service was Jan. 9, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Palmer Cemetery in Furman, AL with Rev. Willie Crawford officiating. Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directed.

Active pallbearers were her five grandsons and one of her great-grandsons.
