Bulah Bell Beech, 78, of Hobson died March 20, 2009 at the family residence.
She was born Dec. 18, 1930. She was a member of Hobson Assembly. She was a retired seamstress with Vanity Fair.
Survivors include one son, Doug (Lisa) Beech, Chatom; two daughters, Renda (Clyde) Cotton, Ginger (Wendell) Singleton, all of Chatom; one brother, James Franklin Beech, Chatom; four sisters, Ina Palmer, Mobile, Juanita Jones, Dalton, Ga., Nell Morris, Louise Ketchum, both of Chatom; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Jimbo Beech and a daughter, Debbie Lozano.
The service was March 22 at 2 p.m. at Hobson Assembly of God with Revs. Steve Foster and Tim Sullivan officiating. Burial was in the Beech Jones Cemetery. Lathan Funeral Home of Chatom directed.
Active pallbearers were Heath Cotton, Chad Beech, Bart Beech, Peyton Singleton, Jason Jones, Jeremy Jones, Nick Jones and Jason Syron.
Honorary pallbearers were Pat Flanagan, Carl Henry Beech and the Class of 1950.
