Henry Ford "Mose" Goldman Sr., 86, of St. Stephens died March 31, 2009 at his residence.
He was born Jan. 10, 1923. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and received a "Victory Medal." He was a tug boat engineer for Lone Star Cement Company for 38 years. He also worked in shipyards in his early years. He loved hunting, fishing and had a special place in his heart for all children.
Survivors include his wife of "60" years, Mary Stoker Goldman, St. Stephens; one son, Steve (Michelle) Goldman, St. Stephens; four daughters, Diane (Tim) Holston, Jackson, Elaine (Gene) Bologna, Baton Rouge, La., Kathy (Mickey) Warren, Rhonda Goldman, all of St. Stephens; one sister, Vertha Easterling, Jackson; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Henry Ford "Buddy" Goldman Jr.
The service was April 3 at 2 p.m. at St. Stephens Funeral Home with Revs. Nadine Walters and Vann Bush officiating. Burial was in the Goldman Family Cemetery, CR RD 34.
Active pallbearers were Francis Bologna, Justin Goldman, Lance Warren, Joey Holston, Jason Holston and Tyler Holston.
