James Henry Arnold, 80, of Pine Hill died April 13, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospital in Birmingham.
He was born March 2, 1929 in Blunt County. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Thomasville Church of Christ. He was a logger.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva P. Arnold, Pine Hill; two sons, Kyle (Sue) Arnold, Greenville, Nathan (Michele) Arnold, Reidsville, N.C.; two daughters, Lesha A. (Bruce) Monk, Leroy, Patsy A. (Jed) Dunagan, Moreland, GA; six grandchildren, Jerod Arnold, Leslie A. Rutland, Jennifer Grace Arnold, Erica Elizabeth Monk, Tela Nicole Dunagan, Sara Cally Dunagan; seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Marie Arnold.
The service was April 15 at 3 p.m. at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Revs. Adam Andrews and Dwight Edwards officiating. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Pine Hill.
