Eula Mae Robinson, 77, of Whatley died May 29, 2009 at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 8, 1931 to the parentage of the late John

Adams and Ada Lucille Chapman Adams. She was a native of the Mt. Zion Community and a resident of

Whatley for

60 years. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Whatley, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She was beloved by the Whatley Community by children and adults of all ages. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Robinson Sr., and a daughter, Cynthia Marie Robinson.

Survivors include three sons: Daniel L. Robinson, Pittsburgh, PA, Douglas Robinson, Tuscaloosa, Theodore Robinson Jr., Grove Hill; three daughters, Betty Portis, Grove Hill, Rose Brown, Atlanta, GA, Kathryn Jackson, Pelham; three brothers, Earl J. Chapman, Jamaica, New York, Robert Chapman Jr., Chester Adams, Scotty Adams, all of Grove Hill; one sister, Tina Adams, Alexandria, LA; two daughtersin law: Cynthia Robinson, Tuscaloosa, Grace Robinson, Pittsburgh, PA; one son-in-law, Robert Brown, Atlanta, GA; three sisters-in-law: Evorn Chapman, Jamaica, New York, Darlene Chapman, Lillian Adams, both of Grove Hill; 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, June 6 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Whatley with Rev. Fernell Pendleton, pastor and eulogist to officiate. Viewing will be Friday, June 5 from 5-7 p.m. at Andrews Funeral Home. A second viewing will also be on Saturday from 10 until 11. Burial will be in the First Baptist Church Cemetery. Andrews Funeral Home of Jackson will direct.
