Paul J. Pippin, 77, of Frankville died June 19, 2009 at Jackson Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 18, 1931. He was a member of the Frankville Baptist Church. He was a Mason, Lodge 900, Chapter 568 of Frankville. He retired from the United States Air Force and served in the Korean Conflict. He also retired from AEC in Leroy. He liked to fish and participate in deer drives. He loved to travel and spend time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Charlene Sheffield Pippin, Frankville; two sons, Sammy Joe Pippin, Frankville, Paul (Marie) Pippin, Panama City, FL; one daughter, Paula (Steve) Brannan, Jackson; four grandchildren; one greatgrandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Jack Pippin and Lillian Louise Walley Pippin.
The service was June 21 at 2:30 p.m. at Frankville Baptist Church with Bros. Brandon Rainey, Jimmie Butts and Al Dykeman officiating. Burial was in the Frankville Baptist Church Cemetery with a full dress military burial. St. Stephens Funeral Home directed.
Active pallbearers were Worth Schultz, Mac Schultz, Troy Elmore, Jackie Ganus and Joe Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were Ac Mosley, Paul Mosley, Jimmy Elmore, Jerry Earl Johnson, Jesse Richardson and Doug Pippin.
