She was a member of the Living Church of God in Zimco. She was designated as Mother of the Church.
Survivors include her husband, Pastor Odell Pugh, Grove Hill; five sons, Raymond Dale Pugh, Bishop Eddie Charles (Cedella) Pugh, both of Grove Hill, George Pugh, Yarbo, Willis Pugh, and Odeal (Tony) Pugh Jr., both of Montgomery; two daughters, Mary Pearl Marshall, Grove Hill, Tawanda (Edward) Duff, Theodore; four brothers, Willie Lee Martin, Grove Hill, George Martin, Mt. Vernon, Gross Foreman, Whatley, Ken Foreman, Detroit, Mich; two sisters, Alice Pearl (Robert) Bell, Mt. Vernon, Barbara Ann Martin, Montgomery; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
The service was June 27 at Berry's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Winn with Rev. Edward Seaborn, pastor and Bishop Eddie Charles Pugh officiating. Burial was in the Living Church of God Cemetery in Zimco. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed.
