She was born Dec. 16, 1954 to the parentage of the late Daniel Jackson and Costella Viola Morgan Jackson. She united with Rodgers Temple AOH Church at an early age. After moving to Texas, she united with God's Prayer House in Dallas. She was employed as Food Service Manager with the Wilmer-Hutchins Independent School District, Dallas, TX.
Survivors include her husband, Henry James Foxx Jr., one son, Tonnie James Foxx, one daughter, Amanda Marie Foxx, seven brothers, Madison White Jr., Ft. Worth, TX; Bennie S. (Ida Mae) Jackson, Travis (Lureda) Jackson, Curlee (Evelyn) Jackson, Willie Louis (Lois) Jackson, all of Gainestown, Robert L. (Jean) Jackson, Charles Edward (Patricia Ann) Jackson, both of Dallas, TX, former sister-inlaw, Kathy Jackson, Jackson; six sisters, Marie White, Detroit, MI, Minnie Lee (Jefferson) Williams, Ardena Jackson, both of Gainestown, Adline Foxx, Ceola (Ricky) Jones, both of Dallas, Dora Lee Winters, Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren, La'Deasha A. Williams, Shadadriah A. Foxx, La'Trevian T. Foxx; one great-grandchild, Julius D. Williams Jr., all of Lancaster, TX.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, La'Taura Ray Foxx, and a sister, Ethel Lee Fuller.
Services will be Saturday, July 25 at 1 p.m. at Gainestown AOH Church, Overseers Heary Rodgers, pastor, Willie C. Sanders, Jr., eulogist. Viewing will be from 12 until 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Blackfoot Cemetery in Jackson. The family will receive friends at the home Travis Jackson following the burial. Andrews Funeral Home will direct.
