SWHS plows through Panthers 63-0

Photo by Johnny Autery The Sweet Water High School Bulldogs jumped out to a huge early lead and never looked back as they beat the Coffeeville Panthers 63-0 last Friday night at Panther Stadium.

The Bulldogs built a 55-0 first quarter lead while the defense limited Coffeeville to just 33 yards of total offense.

Johnny Lockett had touchdown runs of 8- and 37-yards.

QB Brett Davis threw a 49- yard TD pass to Linc Luker.

The other scoring from Sweet Water came from: Chris Landrum, 9-yard TD; Jeremy Landrum, 5-yard TD; Michael Thompson, 9- yard TD; Terrence Sewell, 18-yard TD; Cadarius Ward, 35-yard TD; and Jul Gaines, 5-yard fumble return.

The Panthers (0-3, 0-2) look to get in the win column this week as they host J.F. Shields while Sweet Water (2-1, 2-0) returns home to host Fruitdale.

Game time for each is 7 p.m.
