Roy Edward Andrews, 68, of Chance died Oct. 24, 2009 at his residence.
He was born Sept. 21, 1941 in Thomasville. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fulton. He was retired from McMillian Bloedel Paper Mill where he worked in sales.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Andrews, Chance; two daughters, Donna Andrews Parham, Jackson, Dana Andrews Maples, Lexington, KY, one sister, Florene Andrews Carlisle, Grove Hill; one grandson, William David Maples III, Lexington, KY; one granddaughter, Erica Caroline Maples, Lexington, KY.
He was preceded in death by a son, Eric Edward Andrews.
The service was Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Fulton with Rev. Mike Bedsole officiating. Burial was in the Magnolia Lawn Cemetery in Grove Hill. O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
Active pallbearers were Roy Carlisle, Hunter Andrews, Carter Barnes, Chad Bradford, Harold Wells, Tommy Davis and David Francia.
Honorary pallbearers were Mike Rotch, Calvin Bradford, Sammy Hutto, Byron Carlisle, Rex Jackson, Frank Jackson, John Moore and Johnny Ingram.
