THE CLARKE COUNTY EDUCATION RETIREES ASSOCIATION will meet Thursday, Nov. 19 at 11:45 a.m. at the New Faith Baptist Church in Coffeeville. The program will be about Crime Protection. All members and potential members are urged to attend. Hostesses for this meeting will be Faye Cotten, Janice Cox, Kathleen Dunagan, Grace Dunigan, Lummie Dunigan and Lyndal Scruggs.

WILSON HALL HIGH SCHOOL’S CLASS OF 1969’s 40TH YEAR REUNION will be Friday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Nov. 29 at Wilson Hall Middle School. There will be a meet and greet event on Friday, Nov. 27 at 6 p.m. a business meeting will be held Saturday, Nov. 28 from 10 until 11 a.m. and a brunch from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. followed by a banquet at 6:30 p.m. Worship service at the school will be Sunday, Nov. 29. All classmates are asked to attend Friday and Sunday, no fees.

FULTON’S CHRISTMAS PARADE will be Saturday, Nov. 28 at 2 p.m. in downtown Fulton. The theme will be an Old-Fashion Christmas. Line up will begin at 1 p.m. at Spencer Chapel A.M.E. Church in Fulton. Entry fee will be $5. The parade is being sponsored by The Dickinson and Fulton Unity II Community Organization.

THE COFFEEVILLE RSVP will have its annual holiday luncheon at the Coffeeville Nutrition Center Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 12:30 p.m. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish and also a small gift for a fun game of “dirty Santa.”

GROVE HILL’S ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE will be Thursday, Dec. 3. The theme for this year’s parade will be Christmas Stories. Line up will begin at 3:15 in front of the Clarke County High School. The parade will begin at 4 p.m. at Jackson Street and Cobb Street by the Clarke County Museum and travel south on Jackson Street. The parade will end at The Medicine Chest and 4th Street. After the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus will greet children of all ages on the porch of the Clarke County Museum where they will give out candy and coloring books. Come and have fun at the Christmas activities and craft tables. There is no fee to enter the parade. COFFEEVILLE’S TOUR OF HOMES will be Sunday, Dec. 6 from 2 until 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased the day of the event at the Masonic Lodge at 1:45 p.m. You will be given a brochure of the homes on the tour and directions.

GROVE HILL’S ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING will be Thursday, Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. on the hospital grounds. The Grove Hill Memorial Hospital’s Auxiliary invites everyone to come enjoy the program and refreshments afterwards.

COFFEEVILLE’S CHRISTMAS PARADE will be Saturday, Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. The parade will follow its usual route. There will be food, entertainment and fellowship immediately following at the Mason Lodge park. For more information call Terri at 251-276-3831.
