Memoriams

In Memory of

Gilmer Deas

Nov. 30, 1915-May 17, 2008

Death comes and brings its sorrow

And makes a darker tomorrow

Along comes friends who show they care

And want to help with the burdens we bear

Remember a word fitly spoken

Seldom goes unnoticed Birthdays come and go

But memories always stay

As we think of little things he’d do or say

Goes for a brighter day

We place flowers on the grave

That wither, fade and decay

But love for the one who sleeps beneath

Will never fade away. Life’s work well done Life’s race well run.

His Family

In Memory of

Shirley Counselman

Nov. 27, 1953 - Aug. 12, 2009

We thought of you with love today,

But this is nothing new,

We thought of you yesterday and the days before that too.

We think of you in silence and

often speak your name.

All we have now are our memories,

and your picture in a frame.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

But you didn’t go alone.

A part of us went with you

The day God took you home.

Thinking of you on your Birthday.

and Friends
