Willie Gray “Red” Morgan Sr., 71, of Thomasville died Nov. 28, 2009 at Mobile Infirmary.
He was born March 31, 1938 in Annie Manie. He was an automobile mechanic of Thomasville.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Ann Morgan, Thomasville; two sons, Willie Gray (Tabetha) Morgan Jr., Thomasville, Timothy Lee (Nicole) Morgan, Fulton; six daughters, Rosalyn (Bobby) Fagan, Silas, Angela (Brent) Parnell, Magnolia, Madonna (Mike) McKinley, Illinois, Carroll (Patrick) Baugh, Spanish Fort, Willie Diantha (Todd) Dailey, Fulton, Margaret Ann (Curtis) Hicks, Grove Hill; six brothers, Sam Morgan, Walter Ray Morgan Sr., Donald Bryant Morgan, all of Thomasville, Eugene Morgan, Prattville, Amos Clem Morgan, York, Andy Gray Morgan, Jefferson; two sisters, Mamie Campbell, Carrie Ann Walker, both of Thomasville; 20 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren.
The service was Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Revs. Johnny Harvell, Eugene Morgan and Thomas Jackson officiating. Burial was in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville.
Active pallbearers were James Bender, Billy Joe Morgan, Walter Ray Morgan, Caleb Morgan, Alvin Kennedy, Colton Baugh, Tim Baugh and Jacob Larrimore.
