Preston Lee "PL" Hodge, 75, of McIntosh died Jan. 12, 2010 at Mobile Infirmary.
He was born July 5, 1934. He was a construction worker. He loved to hunt.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Hodge, Citronelle; four sons, Garry Hodge, George (Brenda) Hodge, Graylin (Paula) Hodge, Glenn (Amy) Hodge, all of McIntosh; two daughters, April (Jade) Taylor, Seaboard, Carrie Hodge, Mobile; three brothers, Tommy (Helen Kay) Hodge, Chester (Judy) Hodge, all of Mobile, Henry (Nola Gay) Hodge, Charity Chapel; 15 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; his wife of 38 years, Lillie Hodge, McIntosh.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Lee and Ida Mae Hodge; a brother, David Hodge; infant daughter, Tollie Bell Hodge.
Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 14 from 12 until 2 p.m. at Reeds Chapel of McIntosh. The service will be at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bennett Weaver officiating. Burial will be at Reeds Chapel Cemetery in McIntosh. St. Stephens Funeral Home directed.
Active pallbearers will be Preston Parnell, Graylin Hodge, Graylin Hodge Jr., Jade Taylor, Dave Snow and Henry Hodge Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Gary Hodge, George Hodge, and Glenn Hodge.
