Lillie Nell Orso Hodge, 70, of McIntosh died Feb. 15, 2010 at Washington County Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 30, 1940. She was a homemaker who loved to sew, raise a vegetable garden and work in her flower garden. She was a devoted Christian who loved God.
Survivors include four sons, Gary Hodge, George (Brenda) Hodge, Graylin (Paula) Hodge, Glenn (Amy) Hodge, all of McIntosh; two daughters, April (Jade) Taylor, Seaboard, Carrie Hodge, Mobile; two sisters, Willie Mae Reed, Tollie Bell Reed, both of McIntosh.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Preston Lee Hodge, one daughter, Tollie Bell Hodge, parents, Harm and Delphine Orso, and five brothers, Douger Orso, Charlie Lawrence Orso, Pelham Orso, Clarence Orso IV, and McKesson Orso and a sister, Bessie Weaver.
The service was Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. at Reeds Chapel in McIntosh with Rev. Bennett Weaver officiating. Burial was in the Reeds Chapel Cemetery in McIntosh. St. Stephens Funeral Home directed.
Active pallbearers were Gary Hodge Jr., Benji Covington Jr., Thomas Covington, Graylin Hodge Jr., Mickey Lofton Jr. and David Hodge.
Honorary pallbearers were Gary Hodge, George Hodge, Graylin Hodge and Glenn Hodge.
