Lennox Wilson Larrimore, 71, of Thomasville died March 16, 2010 at his residence.
He was born Oct. 1, 1938 in Thomasville. He was a graduate of Clarke County High School, Auburn Polytechnic Institute (Auburn University) and the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). He also served in the Alabama National Guard. Dr. Len was a long time partner with his uncle Dr. Roy Larrimore in Thomasville. He was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Judith Rutledge Larrimore, Thomasville; one son, Jason (Yvette) Larrimore, Thomasville; two daughters, Jennifer (Scott) Cannady, Peachtree City, GA, Julie (Randall) Jackson, Thomasville; one daughter-in-law, Jane Larrimore, Satsuma; two sisters, Patricia Crosby, Cathy Meyers, both of Longwood, FL; nine grandchildren, Danielle Larrimore, Anthony Larrimore, Zachary Larrimore, Andrew Larrimore, Matthew Larrimore, Gabriel Jackson, Joshua Jackson, Danny Cannady and Sara Cannady.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Larrimore.
The service was March 19 at 2 p.m. at Thomasville Baptist Church with Dr. Gary A. Enfinger and Rev. Ty Parten officiating. Burial was in the Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville. O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
Active pallbearers were Alan Waite, Phil Waite, David Larrimore, Keith Larrimore, Randall Jackson, Scott Cannady, Sid Parrott, Harvey Sheffield, Larry Sheffield, and Dr. Cephas Phillips.
Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Campbell, Dr. T.B. Darji, Dr. Frank Dozier, Dr. Bryce Evans, Fred Fendley, Dr. Ronald Friday, Dr. Colby Maher, Dr. Gary Kania, Dr. James Prescott and Dr. J.C. Stanley.
