Burnard Levon Pugh, 81, of Coffeeville died March 21, 2010 at Springhill Memorial Hospital in Mobile.
He was born Sept. 30, 1928. He was a member of the Ulcanush Baptist Church in Coffeeville. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW. He was a retired mechanic for Vanity Fair Mills in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Allday Pugh, Coffeeville; two sons, Dwight (Angie) Pugh, Darrell Pugh, all of Coffeeville; one brother, Earl Pugh, Calvert; five sisters, Betty Allday, Jackson, Eunice Gunter, Jewel Beverly, Dot Jones, all of Jackson, Mary Hinson, Grove Hill; two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Viola Pugh and a sister, Leola Smith.
Visitation and service will be Tuesday, March 23 from 12 p.m. until the 2 p.m. service at Ulcanush Baptist Church in Coffeeville. Burial will be in the Ulcanush Baptist Church Cemetery in Coffeeville. An online guest book may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes.com. Lathan Funeral  Home of Jackson directed.
Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Hazelmyer, Ricky Marshall, Steven Hinson, Brian Long, Jimmy Gunter and Joel Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Hank Dunagan, James Dunagan and Robert Henderson
