Margaret Earnestine Cabaniss Cranford

 Margaret Earnestine Cabaniss Cranford, 69, died April 9, 2010 at her residence in Jackson.

She was born Nov. 25, 1940. She was a native of Bay Minette. She was a member of Peniel Baptist Church. She was retired as a secretary with the Water Board of the City of Jackson.

Survivors include her husband, Marlyn Cranford, Jackson; a son, Marty (Darlene) Cranford, Mobile; a daughter, Shannon C. (Brett) Odom, Jackson; a brother, Charles Cabaniss, Jackson; a sister, Mary Sue Morgan, Evanston, WY; four grandchildren Garrison Odom, Lauren Cranford, Hayden Cranford and Gaines Odom.

A visitation will be held Sunday, April 11 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson. The funeral will be Monday, April 12 at 4 p.m. in Lathan Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson with Rev. Sonny Hoven to officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Jackson. Lathan Funeral Home will direct. An on-line guestbook may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes.com

 Active pallbearers will be Darryl Cabaniss, Mack Morgan, Brett Odom, John Gaddis, Mike Whitehead, Garrison, Odom and Lance Cabaniss.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jackson City Hall employees, Glenda Allen, Jean McInnis and Voncille Echols.
