Margaret Earnestine Cabaniss Cranford, 69, died April 9, 2010 at her residence in Jackson.
She was born Nov. 25, 1940. She was a native of Bay Minette. She was a member of Peniel Baptist Church. She was retired as a secretary with the Water Board of the City of Jackson.
Survivors include her husband, Marlyn Cranford, Jackson; a son, Marty (Darlene) Cranford, Mobile; a daughter, Shannon C. (Brett) Odom, Jackson; a brother, Charles Cabaniss, Jackson; a sister, Mary Sue Morgan, Evanston, WY; four grandchildren, Garrison Odom, Lauren Cranford, Hayden Cranford and Gaines Odom.
The service was April 12 at 4 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson with Rev. Sonny Hoven officiating. Burial was in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson. Lathan Funeral Home directed. An on-line guest book may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes. com.
