Paul Sterling DeRouen Jr., 65, of Franklin died March 31, 2010 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.
He was born June 22, 1944. He was a native of Selma. He worked as a diesel mechanic. He was in the National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Ann DeRouen, Franklin; one son, Paul Anthony (Carey) DeRouen, Thomasville; one daughter, Paula (Mike) Cabaniss, Grove Hill; his father, Rev. W.C. Stabler, Franklin; three brothers, W.C. (Velma) Stabler, Saraland, James (Darlene) Stabler, Frisco City, Johnny (Linda) Stabler, Pine Hill; four sisters, Carol (David) Cole, Excel, Sarah Stacey, Monroeville, Blanche (Fred) Thompson, Sulligent, Rosemary (Sam) Fish, Demopolis; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces.
The service was Friday, April 2 at 11 a.m. at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with Revs. Johnny Stabler and W.C. Stabler officiating. Burial was in the Springhill Baptist Cemetery in Franklin. You may sign an online guest book at www.monroechapel.com.
