William Thomas Robbins Jr., 73, of Hobson died April 21, 2010 at the Washington County Nursing Home in Chatom.
He was born May 4, 1936. He was a native of Pelahatchie, MS. He was a member of the Pine Level Baptist Church in Hobson. He was retired from Ciba Geigy, Inc., in McIntosh as a chemical engineer.
Survivors include one son, William Thomas "Bill" (Sheri) Robbins III, Chatom; two daughters, Kristi (Ricky) Everett, Grove Hill, Karrie (Shane) Cross, Wedowee; one sister, Peggy Coghlan, Brookhaven, MS; eight grandchildren, Austin, Med, Josie, Mattie, Cade, Caleb, Jake and Kinsley.
Visitation and graveside service will be Friday, April 23 from 12 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home Chapel in Chatom. A graveside service will be held at the Hobson Community Cemetery at 1 p.m. with Rev. Bobby Smith to officiate. An online guest book may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes.com.
Active pallbearers will be Austin Everett, Med Everett, Caleb Logan and Jake Logan.
