Adon Dean Howard, 47, of Leroy died April 25, 2010.
He was born Jan. 6, 1963. He was a native of Waynesboro, MS. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Leroy. His favorite hobby was watching NASCAR racing, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr., the Black #3. He worked for D&H Trucking Company and construction.
Survivors include his parents, Grover and Ruth Howard, Leroy; one son, Justin David (Tia) Howard, Alabaster; one daughter, Megan Sheree (Michael) Redd, Montevallo; one brother, Scott Thomas, Mobile; three sisters, Brenda (Oliver) Goldman, Marcia (Brian) Blankenship, all of St. Stephens, Chelsea (Todd) Bailey, Leroy; three grandchildren, Alexis Redd, Makayla Howard, Evan Redd; two nephews, Ryan Goldman, Chad Goldman; four nieces, Lacey Blankenship, Andie Bailey Alex Bailey and Katie Blankenship.
A graveside service was April 27 at 5 p.m. in the First Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. James Watkins officiating. St. Stephens Funeral Home directed.
Active pallbearers were Dillan Howard, Darrell Howard, Brian Howard, Paul Henderson, Terry Henderson, Ryan Goldman and Chad Goldman.
Honorary pallbearers were Allen (Bubba) Gartman, Emanual King, David Sullivan, Mitch Clark, Dwight Sullivan and Wayne Sullivan.
