Elizabeth McClure "Deedie Bo" Pitman, 85, of Mobile died May 12, 2010 at her residence.
She was born April 12, 1925. She was a native of Jackson. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda (Donald) Keith, Ellen Pitman, Rebekah (Lonnie) Murray, all of Mobile; two sisters, Rebekah M. Noble, Emeline M. Porter, both of Jackson; two grandchildren, Philip Murray and Paul Murray of Mobile; numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be Friday, May 14 from 12 p.m. until the 2:30 p.m. service at the First Presbyterian Church in Jackson with Rev. Scott Armstrong to officiate. Burial will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson. An online guest book may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes.com. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed.
Active pallbearers will be Ed Noble, Sam Noble, Tom Noble, Frank Noble, Chet Noble, Justin Noble, Clay Walker, Speck McCants, John McCants and Chris McCants.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Presbyterian Home for Children, P.O. Box 577, Talladega, AL 35161-9975 or Covenant Hospice at 3201 Dauphin Street, Suite D, Mobile, AL 36606 or to the Charity of your choice.
