Alvin Lawrence Stone Sr., 64, of Demopolis died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
He was born May 27, 1945 in Suttle. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two sons, Lonnie (Elizabeth) Stone, Jesse (Shelly) Stone, all of Livingston; one daughter, Penny Hamilton, Demopolis; one brother, John (Faye) Stone, Linden; one sister, Annette Ackers, Dothan; one grandson, Ethan Hamilton, Sweet Water; his children’s mohter, Nancy W. Kearley, Livingston.
A graveside service was May 18 at 11 a.m. at Thomaston Cemetery with Rev. Dan Baughman officiating. O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
Honorary pallbearers were Moses Wilkinson, Ben Wilkinson, Clayton Egbert, Drew Evans, Clay Elliott, James Elliott, Tony Stone, Mark Thrash, Brad Hamilton, Ethan Hamilton, Bill Ingram and all of his nephews and nieces.
