Joe Cecil Jordan, 70, of Coffeeville died June 4, 2010 at his residence.
He was born Jan. 12, 1940. He was a native of Failtown. He was a member of the New Faith Baptist Church in Coffeeville. He was a self-employed timber man for 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Jordan, Coffeeville; two daughters, Tina Jordan Weldon, Twana Jordan Williams, both of Birmingham; two step-sons, Greg Gainer, J.P. Walker, both of Coffeeville; one step-daughter, Raquel Krupa, Mobile; one brother, Wilson Jordan, Coffeeville; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Monday, June 7 from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. service at New Faith Baptist Church in Coffeeville with Rev. Butch Starks to officiate. Burial will be in the Ulcanush Baptist Church Cemetery. An online guest book may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes.com. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson will direct.
Active pallbearers will be J.P. Walker, Terrill Hodge, Tiler Williams, Jordan Williams, Will Hammond, Morgan Hammond, Keith Weldon and Mark Williams.
