Barbara Ann Howell Bell, 56, of Jackson died June 2, 2010 in a local health care facility.
She was born Aug. 4, 1953. She was a member of Visitation Catholic Church of Jackson. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the Southwest Alabama Porcelain Artists Association and the International Porcelain Artists and Teachers Association.
Survivors include her mother, Martha G. Howell, Jackson; two daughters, Stephanie R. Bell, Leroy, Natalie C. Bell, Gulfport, MS; two brothers, Scott (Carol) Howell, Leroy, Jason (Racy) Howell, Fulton; four sisters, Linda H. Brown, Sharon (Ed) Noble, Jennifer (Thor) Huebner, all of Jackson, Melissa (Mark) Harrell, Leroy; two grandchildren, Victoria Williams, Braxton Tarver; many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, J. David Howell Sr., a brother, David Howell Jr., and her husband, Jimmy M. Bell.
The service was June 4 at 11 a.m. at the Visitation Catholic Church with Father Pat Madden officiating. Burial was in the Peniel Baptist Church Cemetery in Jackson. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed.
Active pallbearers were Barry Howell, Jerry Faust, Bob Broadhead, Maurie Outlaw, Chad Williams, Thor Huebner, Jerry Whitehead and Gene Whitehead.
Honorary pallbearers were Stuart Bolen and Jerry Taylor.
