Francis Marion Fleming, 84, of Jackson died June 10, 2010 at a Mobile hospital.
He was born March 2, 1926. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church on Highway 69 in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Thomasene H. Fleming, Jackson; two sons, Danny (Jewel) Fleming, Monroeville, Francis (Karen) Fleming, Orange Beach; four daughters, Lorraine (Gary) Craft, Marion (Alan) Steele, Sally (Leonard) McHaney, all of Jackson, Cathy (Joseph) Constantino, Foley; one brother, Sol Lee Fleming Jr., Silverhill; three sisters, Hattie Claire Gunter, Birmingham, Gloria Houye, Amite, LA, Carol Bedwell, Thomasville; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Sol Lee and Lillie Dubose Fleming and two brothers, Pomroy Fleming, Billy Clifton Fleming.
The service was June 13 at 4 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church on Highway 69 in Jackson with Revs. E.C. Russell, Don Rushing and Jimmy Butts officiating. Burial was in Trinity Memorial Gardens on the Walker Springs Road in Jackson. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed. An online guest book may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes.com.
