Joe Cecil Jordan, 70, of Coffeeville died June 4, 2010 at his residence.

He was born Jan. 12, 1940. He was a native of Failtown. He was a member of the New Faith Baptist Church in Coffeeville. He was a selfemployed timberman for 50 years.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Jordan, Coffeeville; two daughters, Tina Jordan Weldon, Twana Jordan Williams, both of Birmingham; two step-sons, Greg Gainer, J.P. Walker, both of Coffeeville; one stepdaughter, Raquel Krupa, Mobile; one brother, Wilson Jordan, Coffeeville; 11 grandchildren; one greatgrandchild.

The service was June 7 at 10:30 a.m. at New Faith Baptist Church in Coffeeville with Rev. Butch Starks officiating. Burial was in the Ulcanush Baptist Church Cemetery. An online guest book may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes. com. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed.

Active pallbearers were J.P. Walker, Terrill Hodge, Tiler Williams, Jordan Williams, Will Hammond, Morgan Hammond, Keith Weldon and Mark Williams.

Honorary pallbearers were Glenn Redmond and Burton Redmond.
