Walter Wesley "Bueg" Warren Jr., 91, of Millry died June 13, 2010 at the Washington County Nursing Home.
  He was born April 8, 1919. He was a member of the Millry Baptist Church. He served during World War II and was a Pearl Harbor survivor and he also served in the United States Navy for 20 years. He was self-employed, owned and operated Septic Tank Systems.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Marie Warren, Millry; one brother, Leo (Bettye) Warren, Warner Robbins, GA; two sisters, Fannie Mae (Wilbur) Myrick, Forest, MS, Easter Carmichael, Starkville, MS; numerous nephews and nieces.
The service was June 15 at 1 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home Chapel in Chatom with Revs. Billy Kendrick and Fred Toomey officiating. Burial was in the Healing Springs Cemetery in Millry with full military honors at graveside. An online guest book may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes.com.
