Tennie Madeline Tarver Lankford, 83, of Wagarville died June 19, 2010 at Jackson Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 12, 1926. For many years she worked as quality instructor at Vanity Fair. She later worked and retired from Olin Chemical Corporation. She loved playing Scrabble.
Survivors include two sons, Robert (Helen) Tarver, Otis (Nancy) Tarver Jr., all of Wagarville; one sister, Claudine Skipworth (Gene) Hamrick, Mobile; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death spouses, Otis Tarver Sr. and Henry Lankford.
The service was June 21 at 11 a.m. at Wagarville Baptist Church with Revs. Glen Sullivan and Jim Blair officiating. Burial was at the Clearwater Cemetery in Wagarville. St. Stephens Funeral Home directed.
Active pallbearers were Andy Tarver, John Tarver, Jonathan Tarver, Tony Tarver, Keith Tarver and George Skipper.
Honorary pallbearers were Rachel Wilson, Dot McCulley, Pris Beech, Janice Wheat, Betty Roney and Hazel Foreman.
